Commodity Specialist

*Position Description & Responsibility
Indirect Materials Commodity Specialist managing spares and services supporting fab equipment operations with primary objectives as achieving the successful start-up/ramp of fabrication plant in China and optimizing uninterrupted affordable supply line support as the fab move into high-volume sustaining wafer manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include but not limited to: direct ownership of spares inventory programs to ensure supply chain health; resolution of materials and/or inventory management and/or supplier service issues, such as recording and reporting quality incidents; managing supplier and/or supply chain issues; managing req-to-settle business processes including releasing purchase orders; development and implementation of site cost and inventory reduction efforts; working with cross-functional teams to drive virtual factory cost savings opportunities in conjunction with Global Fab Materials (GFM) commodity team members, Capital Commodity Teams (TME/FLCED), and factory partners; assisting with material strategic sourcing decisions; maintaining and analyzing key commodity data/BOM; compiling commodity indicators; negotiating, executing, and managing site and/or virtual factory contracts. The position also works with other virtual factory organizations on value engineering strategies, risk assessments, business continuity execution/planning, and ensuring supply meets Materials and Fab Sort Manufacturing goals.

*Requirements
Candidates should have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Supply Chain/Operations Management, Purchasing, Finance or related fields. Candidate must have strong communication skills (spoken and written) with both English/Chinese fluency and comprehension. Should have good problem solving skills, analytical ability, time management capability, project management competence. Should work well as a member of a team and a quick learner. Candidate should be able to execute tasks and projects under minimal supervision. 1-3 years of Supply Line Management or Purchasing related work experience would be beneficial.

Additional qualifications include working knowledge of MRP/SAP; qualitative and quantitative analytical skills; proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint; project management skills; strong stakeholder management capacity; ability to work effectively to lead a team; and the ability to make decisions quickly and accurately; ability to prioritize tasks and manage in a resource constraint environment.

Customer Business Analyst

Position Description & Responsibility:
A Customer Business Analyst (CBA) is responsible for supporting customers by managing the supply pipeline from the customer demand through the delivery of product. Customers are Original Equipment Manufacturers (i.e. they make their own products) or authorized distributors (i.e. they sell Intel parts to their end customers or Intel genuine dealers). Managing the supply line means to understand and analyze customer demand, process customer purchase orders and changes, deliver right products at right time to maintain integrity of delivery commitments, and resolve customer issues and problems as well as having total ownership for specified customers adhering to Intel’s established policies and procedures. In order to perform this, a number of different activities need to be worked out and CBA has to work with multiple groups both internally (i.e. sales, marketing, logistics, credit, finance, etc) and externally (i.e. the customer, freight carriers, etc).

Respond to customer inquiries regarding product and supply information;
Be a first point of contact for all customer issues and drive resolution with having total ownership;
Build and manage relationships with customer contacts;
Appropriately escalate and clearly communicate customer issues with recommendations on actions needed;
Understand Intel’s product roadmap and sales & marketing strategies to influence customer business decision;
Understand customer sales & marketing strategies, market environment and competition to identify potential risks and opportunities;
Forecast and track revenue plan of record per account base;
Supply Chain Management;
Understand and analyze customer demand vs. Intel supply status and provide recommendation;
Manage customer purchase orders and changes following terms & conditions agreed by Intel and customer;
Maintain integrity of delivery commitment and support customers’ urgent delivery requirement to avoid any lines down situation;
Improve business processes to increase productivity & add value to the customer;
Able to clearly communicate and represent customer business to internal stakeholders
Build and manage effective business partnership with field sales, and other internal business partners;
Drive resolution for customer issues & problems by teaming up with other internal stakeholders

Requirements:
Vital elements of the role are strong business acumen, excellent communication & interpersonal skill, good analytical and problem solving skill. Be customer oriented, team player & fast learner. Ability to manage multi-task and to work in a dynamic & changing environment, either independently or in a team, is also critical.
University graduates in Management related majors
Excellent command of spoken and written English and Mandarin is a must
Fluency in Korean or other Asian languages (e.g. Japanese or Thai / Indian languages) is an added advantage
High proficiency in PC and hands-on experience in Microsoft Office/Outlook
Experience in Multinational companies preferred

Materials Engineer

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate responsibilities include working directly with business unit partners, across SMO, other internal stakeholders, and interacting at various level of the supply chain. Successful candidate will be responsible for developing and driving innovative supply line solutions while leading &/or participating in cross functional teams. Additional responsibilities could include but are not limited to performing cyclical organizational duties including indicator tracking, assisting with strategic sourcing decisions, work with business partners to document and capture Intel’s IP, partner within and across the organization to drive strategic initiatives &/or programs, ensuring robust supplier manufacturing operations to support Intel’s quality, cost, and availability requirements, driving continuous improvement within the supply chain, etc.

Qualifications:
Successful candidate should possess a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or applicable degree with a minor or some business background is preferred. A Master's degree in Engineering or MBA is preferred. Additional qualifications include:
- Experience and knowledge of supplier management principles and materials processes
- Experience customer orientation
- Knowledge of board manufacturing operations and processes

- Experience with statistical process control and in general be comfortable with using data to make data based decisions
